Rates & Insurance

I will get your payment set up when creating the first appointment, your card will not be charged until after the session and will be kept on file for future session payments.

Individual/Couple-
$175 for 60 minute sessions

**I’m not normally able to go over the 60 minutes but if we do go over I will charge for the additional time.  If you want to set up a session for longer please let me know and I can let you know what that cost will be and when it would be an option.

Insurance

I do not take insurance and do not plan to do so for many reasons. When insurance is used to pay for mental health, it requires that a diagnosis must be given. This diagnosis becomes a pre-existing condition which can follow you and prevent you from getting cheaper insurance (life/health) or even getting a specific job. I do not feel that clients need to be given a diagnosis, that health insurance companies have the right to your information, or that they should get to determine the number of sessions that you need.

I do have the ability to provide a super bill, which you can submit to your insurance provider as part of your out of network deductible.  I will have to provide a diagnosis, so if you request this I will remind you of this and discuss the diagnosis I plan to include.

Forms of Payment

Credit card, HSA, or FSA cards only.

Missed Sessions/Cancellation Policy

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy and clients will be charged if they cancel/no show with less than 48 hours notice.  I will try to offer Telehealth as an option or other options within the same week so that you are not being charged for a session you are not participating in.  I try to be flexible and if clients know they will need to miss a session ask that they cancel it as far in advance as possible so that we have the opportunity to try to find a time that works for both of us.  If clients continue to cancel, especially for the evening sessions, I will not be able to hold that time for them in the future.
